MOTION TRIO
A Polish accordion trio with an established international reputation, founded in 1996 by Janusz Wojtarowicz. Since then, the band has made its artistic path – from concerts on the streets of Europe to the largest concert halls in the world, including: New York’s Carnegie Hall, the Barbican Center in London and the Konzerthaus in Vienna. The trio’s hallmark is an extremely original sound, achieved, most importantly, while maintaining the pure sound of the accordion – without processing, without the use of other instruments, without technical tricks.
Full of passion and passion, the Motion Trio’s music has been appreciated by contemporary masters such as Michael Nyman, Wojciech Kilar, Jerzy Maksymiuk, Jan AP Kaczmarek, Krzysztof Penderecki, Bobby McFerrin and Joe Zawinul. The fourteen albums released by the band gained wide recognition, receiving praise and awards from both jazz and classical music critics. The Motion Trio has performed in forty-four countries around the world on six continents.
The band plays Pigini Sirius Millenium instruments, considered to be the best accordions in the world.
